Born and raised in Haiti. She is a companionate, hard worker and passionate of children individual. She is married and has 2 wonderful children. She speaks English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
Sherley is a Doctor of Medicine in Haiti graduated from Notre Dame University in 2004 . As a clinician, she worked as a general practitioner in a pediatric hospital for 2 years in an orphanage for 1 year. She also worked in public health area in a NGO as a family planning manager for 5 years. Two years after the earthquake, she moved to USA in 2012 to rejoin her family. She return to school and attend a nursing program at Florida International University for foreign physician from 2012 to 2015 where she graduated with a Cum Laude Bachelors in Nursing. As a passionate of children and medicine she continued her Master’s degree in Nursing as Pediatric Primary care Nurse Practitioner. She is a ANCC Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has 840 hours of experience in diverse hospital and clinical settings providing pediatric medicine.
In the US, she volunteered in a catholic charities NGO to provide education, resources, and support to families, during and after pregnancy as well times of crisis. She worked as a faculty in a nursing school to assist students in tutoring for anatomy, health assessment, Medsurg, review and med-calculation class. She also provides professional nursing care for assigned pediatric patients in a home care agency.
