SOMA MEDICAL CENTER, P.A. is proud to provide our patients with the best transportation service, ensuring they can conveniently access primary medical care. We have a fleet of 12 vehicles to meet all your needs in primary medical care services, pediatrics, gynecology, and accompaniment for the elderly. SOMA MEDICAL CENTER, P.A. guarantees its patients to pick them up from their homes and transport them to our medical offices, arriving on time in a comfortable and safe manner. We will return them to their homes after each visit, with the professionalism and attention of our highly qualified drivers.

Prioridad para Pacientes de Medicare:
Se dará prioridad al transporte de pacientes de planes de Medicare Advantage a sus citas con médicos de atención primaria, citas de laboratorio y citas con especialistas.
Se ofrece servicio de lunes a viernes para pacientes de médicos de atención primaria y laboratorios desde las 8:00 am hasta las 11:45 am y de 2:00 pm a 3:00 pm.
Servicio para pacientes referidos a especialistas:
De lunes a jueves de 8:00 am a 11:00 am.
Deben comunicarse a la oficina de transporte para el servicio, proporcionando los datos de la cita, día, hora y dirección completa del especialista.

Se transportan pacientes a Soma Wellhealth para el primer turno apertura 8:00 am y nuevamente a las 12:00 pm y en el segundo turno 1:00 pm y 5:00 pm
Limitación del Radio de Servicio:
Nuestros servicios de transporte estarán limitados a un radio de 15 millas desde nuestras ubicaciones de oficina.

Do I have a copayment for trips?
No copayments are required; this service is free but requires having one of the following Medicare Advantage insurances: Humana Gold Plus, CarePlus, AETNA Medicare, Devoted, Preferred Care Partners, Prominence, UHC, Healthsun, Solis, Simply Medicare, or being a regular attendee of the PSR Program.

How do I schedule a trip?
When scheduling a medical appointment with us, you must notify us that you need transportation for your primary care, specialist, laboratory appointment, or to attend our PSR.

How do I cancel a trip?
You can call (561) 814-7662 to cancel your appointment. However, once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation call to confirm your attendance.

What type of trips can I get?
The service is exclusively for attending your primary care, specialist, laboratory appointments, or attending the PSR.

Can I talk to the drivers?
You are allowed to communicate with the drivers; our staff speaks both Spanish and English.

What happens if I miss my trip?
Remember, the transportation service is free, and not showing up for your scheduled ride affects other patients who could have used your spot. Repeatedly missing appointments may result in your access to Soma's free transportation being canceled.

What do I need to provide to get a ride?
You need to be a patient of Soma Medical Center and have one of the specified Medicare Advantage insurances or regularly attend the PSR Program.

What are the rules for traveling?
* No eating or drinking during the journey. * No smoking. * It is suggested to be presentable when boarding the vehicle. * Wear a mask if you have symptoms of nasal congestion. * Only 1 companion who is not a minor is allowed. * It is mandatory to show respect towards the drivers and staff of Soma Medical Center. * Patients can only exit the vehicle at authorized points. * Observe speed limits as indicated by traffic signs. * Patients must board the vehicle by themselves or with the help of their companion. * All occupants of the vehicle must wear seat belts.
