Ana Rey Medina was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. Immigrated to Miami, Florida in 2003 where she established herself and raised her family. Her nursing career began in 2008 with a Practical Nursing degree at Sheridan Technical School, which would become the cornerstone of her career. She chose Chamberlain University as the institution to advance her career by graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science in 2015 and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science with Family Practice specialty in 2018.
Ana’s experience ranges from Long -Term Care nursing homes, Rehabilitation Centers, Telemetry, Medical Surgical, Psychiatric, Step Down and Intensive Care units throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, including Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, Memorial West Hospital, and Wellington Regional Medical Center. She holds an active and unrestricted Florida license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Specialty in Family Medicine, and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
