EXAMEN MÉDICO DE USCIS (FORM I-693)

What is an Immigration Medical Exam?

The immigration medical examination, also known as a green card medical examination, is an important step of the immigration process, and is required for most applicants. The exam must be completed by a USCIS approved Civil Surgeon. The purpose of this exam is to ensure that the person seeking a green card has no health conditions that could potentially be inadmissible to the United States, meaning they are ineligible to receive a green card.
