LUIS FERNANDEZ

Dr. Luis Enrique Fernández Rocubert graduated from the Facultad de Ciencias Médicas “Ernesto Che Guevara de la Serna” in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 1995. He later completed his specialization in Internal Medicine at the Hospital Universitario “Abel Santamaría Cuadrado” in Pinar del Río in the year 2000.

In 2007, Dr. Fernández Rocubert obtained his certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), which allowed him to continue advancing his medical career internationally.

In 2015, he successfully completed a Rotatory Internship in Puerto Rico, where he began his work as an Emergency Room Physician at Hospital Wilma N. Vázquez in Vega Baja. Over the following nine years, Dr. Fernández Rocubert provided dedicated and compassionate medical care to the community through his service in the emergency department, earning the respect of both his patients and colleagues.
