CRISTOBAL DIAZ

Cristóbal Díaz Cobas received his Doctor's Degree in General Medicine from the University of Medicine, Santiago de Cuba (1994). He worked in the rural region for two years as a general practitioner. He specialized in General Surgery in 2001. He worked in Surgical Intensive Care and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for more than 10 years at the Calixto García Hospital in Havana. For 3 years, Cristóbal practiced Family Medicine and General Surgery at the Girasol Clinic and the Multiprofile Clinic in Luanda, Angola. He earned his degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Miami Regional University. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Cristóbal has more than 25 years in patient care, he applies his extensive knowledge and experience evaluating, diagnosing and treating patients, providing them with quality, comprehensive and personalized care. His professional values include faith, integrity, respect, honesty, ethics, empathy and teamwork. He is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) During his free time he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, community service, and outdoor activities.
