RUI RODRIGUES

Dr. Rodrigues received his medical degree at the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 2002. He completed his pediatric residency at Pennsylvania State University Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2005. He is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2005.  Dr. Rodrigues enjoys the connection he builds with his patients and families and watching them grow from newborns to healthy, independent young adults.  Prior to joining Soma Medical Center, P.A. in 2021, he worked in private practice as well as an attending physician at several hospitals in Northern Virginia for 16 years. He is licensed to practice pediatrics in Florida and Virginia. In his free time, Dr. Rodrigues enjoys traveling with his family, gardening, and being outdoors. Dr. Rodrigues was born in Portugal.
