Biography

Specialized in family medicine from the Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Julio Castellanos received his bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science at Florida International University in 2005. He has been a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2018 and later received his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Miami Regional University in 2022. Julio C. Castellanos is licensed to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state of Florida and Washington D.C.  With over 15 years of experience in the medical field, he has developed a great sense of compassion and cultural competence and is known for establishing strong relationships with his patients and their families. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and sports.
