FRANCOISE RAMOS

Francoise (Fran) Mendes Ramos was born in Brazil. She is a board-certified family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2003 and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix in 2015. She received her Post-master’s Certificate at Herzing University with Summa Cum Laude as Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty in 2020.She has over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession.  She has experience in a wide range of specialties including family medicine, home health, gerontology, allergy, pediatrics, telemetry, medical surgical, emergency room and women’s health and wound care. As for her academic appointment, she is an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Palm Beach State College in Florida. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Student Nurse Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. 

Francoise has been the recipient of the Employee of the Year Award by Nursing Care USA in 2000, the Grossman Award, and the Giuseppina and Mariano Galanti Nursing Award in 2001, 2002, and 2003. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) FNP-BC. She is licensed to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state of Florida. On a more personal note, she enjoys playing tennis for fun. She came to the United States on a tennis scholarship and played as a professional.
