RAFAEL BAEZ

Dr. Baez received his Medical Degree at the University Autonoma of Guadalajara (UAG). He completed the "Fifth Pathway Program" sponsored by the New York Medical College at Saint Claire's Hospital (now Saint Vincent Midtown) in Manhattan, New York in 2003. He completed his internship and residency program in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2006. He has practiced medicine in his private office and in various hospitals in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 2006 to 2014. In He joined the Soma Medical Center, P.A. family in 2014. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and has advanced training in Stroke Life Support (ASLS) and Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Dr. Baez is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida.  He believes in compassion, fairness, ethics, honesty, respect and loyalty.  In his free time, he likes to travel, spend time with family and motorcycle rides.
