Biography
Diana Ramirez M.D. FAAP, was born and raised in Colombia where she finished her medical school at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. After taking and passing her medical boards she moved to New York were she received the degree of Pediatrician from Icahn School of Medicine at Elmhurst. Became a board certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2016, and continues to maintain her certification to this day.
Dr. Ramirez moved to Florida to be closer to her family and to be able to help the Hispanic community, and joined SOMA medical center in 2016. She has always loved children, and after the birth of her own babies she became particularly interested in new borns and infants, as well as breastfeeding and the understanding that you are not only taking care of your patient but the whole family.
